MaDD Chess Book Library

The lending library is free for all members, and you can borrow a book for up to three months. This catalogue contains a brief explanation of each of the books in our library, and who will benefit from reading it. The colour coding beneath each book gives a rough guide of the ability level it is aimed at.

To borrow a book:

1. At a club night, speak to any of the committee, or write your name on the wish list sheet (kept in the ring binder). If the book is already loaned up, we’ll put you on the waiting list!
2. Drop us an email (maddchessclub@gmail.com) or message us via Facebook
3. One of the committee will bring the book to the next club night. There’ll be a slip inside the front cover, confirming the return date

We ask just one thing of our members - return it in the condition you received it (or help towards the cost of a replacement if it’s lost or damaged)
